that this is not how it’s supposed to work.
Here is what I know to be true:
The effort is not the problem.
The belief that the effort is required is the problem.
And this belief, the one that says you have to earn your way to abundance through doing, is exactly what keeps you cycling between expansion and contraction, between your highest moments and your hardest ones, between the version of you who knows and the version of you who forgets.
What if having more came from doing less?
Not less work.
Less resistance. Less armoring. Less of the efforting that is quietly, invisibly blocking the abundance that is already trying to reach you.
This is what Sovereign Wealth is about. Identifying and removing that resistance.
Abundance flows through clear channels in service to something greater than personal gain.
When wealth moves through a clear channel in service of something larger, it changes in quality entirely. It stops being something you hoard or feel guilty about or contract around.
It becomes what it was always meant to be: energy in motion, in alignment, in coherence with who you are.
This is sovereign wealth.
Not a strategy. Not a mindset shift.
A state of being in which the fracture no longer exists.
Eighteen years ago I founded a theatre company.
Six years in, I was working 100 hours a week, grinding through sheer force of will, nickel and diming my way to any measure of success.
One night I was sitting in a rehearsal, in front of my entire cast, ready to direct, feeling so much pressure to try to get it right, when I heard a voice say:
Set your ego aside.
Serve the playwright and the people in front of you with your whole heart.
Don't need it to succeed for your own gain.
Stay open. And you will be guided.
So I surrendered to it completely.
From that night forward I was guided in every rehearsal. I won best director every single year after that, something that had never happened before in that city. The company became known as one of the fastest growing theatre companies in the city.
Because I made one choice.
To stop trying to make it happen and become a clear channel in service of something larger than me.
This is not passive work.
It will ask you to take radical responsibility for everything in your life, not because you caused everything that happened to you, but because sovereignty requires that you stop waiting for anything outside you to change first.
It will ask you to create from courage, to receive without contracting, to serve from overflow, and ultimately to dissolve the version of you that is still negotiating with your own power.

I know this because I have lived it.
In early 2024, I walked into one of the hardest conversations of my life with one intention: to keep my heart completely open. To not protect myself. To allow whatever came to move through me and change me. What followed cracked me open in a way I had never experienced.
Fifty years of grief poured out of me.
For weeks I couldn't show up on social media, couldn't sell or launch anything. I could only serve my clients and keep my heart open.
It was deeply alchemical.
I could feel myself changing on a cellular level. This was profound inner work. I was leading myself into a more coherent, more sovereign version of myself.
I was remembering my power on a level I had never accessed before.
